Only for the first lot, we will include the L' version CLD of CLHD, which was the inspiration for the design, for free. Numbers are limited, so hurry up.

As the first Leqtique.ch original effector, out of the two completed models, this Caelum OD (aka “COD”) is based on the CLHD and has been completed with a different interpretation. Originally, “Caeruleum” in CLHD means “blue” in Latin, and “Caelum” in COD means “sky” in a broader sense. I have been pursuing subtractive circuits for a long time as one of the ultimate ideals, but the CLHD, which has been sublimated into a complete form as an effector, has been one of my favorites for a long time as a designer. As explained in the Latin above, while the CLHD excels at clean sounds, the intensely sharp controls and the high resolution that can be called High Definition were my image of “blue”. COD is a comprehensive effector that can be used in a broader sense with the image of “sky” and can be used to create a more overall sound.

CLHD is particularly powerful as a clean sound conditioner, such as a buffer, low gain drive, preamp, etc., but the very smooth overdrive sound created by using two CLHDs in a doubled state and setting the Definition control in the middle to the right point has remained in my ears since the beginning, and I wanted to embody that in a more user-friendly format someday. COD is a mid-gain overdrive that embodies that concept in an easy-to-use form. The volume is the same as CLHD, but the newly named Tone/Def control essentially inherits the circuit-like purity of the CLHD Definition control, but when you turn it, you will notice that it has a feel similar to a general TS-type tone control. Personally, I feel a unique flavor in the 10:30 to 2:00 tone control points of TS-type pedals, and the same is true for COD. This is because the low end, which originated from the basement of clean sounds and was reproduced as it was in the original sound in CLHD, is cut at an exquisite point in COD, which was designed for overdrive purposes like TS. Additionally, the Gain control is not expanded excessively either up or down, giving it a feel similar to that of a TS type amplifier.

Therefore, I think that COD is the ultimate answer to the "Neo-TS" style, in other words. Although each builder has a different name for it, this genre has been pursued in the prototyping stage for a long time, with CMOS-based developments, discrete op-amp disassembly ideas, and the use of actual tubes, but it has been difficult to surpass the original quality with a completely different circuit mechanism, and there are still no effects pedals on the market. COD is proud to have been able to reproduce the completely original circuit ideas and ultra-HiFi component selection of CLHD to a basic level, and to output a completely new sound in an easy-to-understand form. The responsiveness to guitar volume is the same as CLHD, and this is my answer to "Neo-TS". I hope you will enjoy its "staff meal"-like temperament, which shows more of a builder's personality than the usual Leqtique effects pedals. (COD is only available on Leqtique.ch.

Control: (Left to Right) Volume, Tone/Def, Gain

Operation Voltage: 9V ONLY (12V or higher will destroy the internal IC and cause it to malfunction, so please use a 9V rated adapter or battery.)

Current Consumption: Approx. 45mA (It consumes a large current due to the internal boost circuit, but it can also operate at 4V, so it has a longer operating time even with batteries than typical high-current-driven effects units.)
