EHV-R2 "Miniamp" Manual
This is the manual page for Leqtique EVR - EHV-R2 "Miniamp".

When viewed from the top of the pedal, the right side is the input (note that with the EHV ultra-high voltage series, the power is always on regardless of whether this is plugged in or unplugged), the left side is the output, the lower right side is the DC power supply (9V, center negative), and the lower top of the pedal is the foot switch (true bypass) for turning the effect on/off.
Controls are (Left to Right) Volume, Tone, Gain, and Low-Cut (mini).

The EHV Series (Ultra-High Voltage Concept Series) is the world's first electronic musical instrument to use the Linear Technology (now Analog Devices) LT8365 chip in an ultra-space-saving high-voltage generation unit. This completely eliminates the overheating and thermal runaway problems that plague conventional high-voltage vacuum tube effects pedals. The LT8365 chip also features a soft-start function that prevents damage to the chip in the event of any voltage generation errors (such as a sudden insertion or removal of the DC jack), resulting in an extremely safe and low-noise power supply generation unit.
Just like with a normal effect pedal, you can simply plug in the DC plug and start playing without overthinking anything complicated, but there are two things to keep in mind.
1) The R2 draws 195mA of power when in operation, but requires a larger current only when you plug in the DC adapter. Therefore, we recommend using an adapter with a 500mA or higher capacity, or a power supply with an isolated outlet. When you plug in the DC jack for the first time or after a long period of non-use, the LED may flash for about a second and no sound may be heard. This is due to the soft start function mentioned above, and the unit will immediately return to normal operation along with the LED flashing. This is not a malfunction, so please do not worry.
2) The R2 generates dynamic sound by feeding a power line that is boosted to 250V internally into a special high-voltage semiconductor. Because this extremely high voltage is applied to the terminals on every circuit board inside the pedal, we ask that you never open or close the back cover or touch the inside of the pedal (especially when the DC power supply is connected). Opening and closing the back cover should only be done during maintenance by Leqtique EVR.

The EHV-R2 "Miniamp" combines ultra-high voltages equivalent to those found in vacuum tube amplifiers with two high-voltage-resistant D-MOSFETs to produce ultra-high-response clean to light gain that will have you instinctively playing jazz, pops, and blues. Think of it as the preamp section of a high-end compact combo amp, directly extracted to your pedalboard. Or, think of it as a light-gain overdrive pedal reminiscent of an existing effect pedal, but with a new dimension of high response and dynamics. As its name suggests, it can be used as a small foot-mounted amp to generate main distortion, or, in the latter case, it can be combined with an actual amp head or other effects pedals to create an ultra-dynamic booster/overdrive.
Since we were particular about placing it at your feet, it has been designed so that it can be used electrically and with the same feel as a regular effect pedal. You can combine any effect pedal before or after it without any problems. There is no need to think of it as a "preamp." The "Miniamp" has amp-like volume, gain, and tone, but it also has a small Low-Cut control as an "effect pedal" essence, which has a clearer change than the controls on a regular amplifier, and the operation feel is the same as other Leqtique (EVR) effect pedals.
Input Voltage: 9V (9V-18V input is acceptable, but the internal voltage boost level will not change and the sound will be the same.)
Current Consumption: 195mA (2.1mm center negative, but an adapter with a capacity of 500mA or more, or an isolated power supply is recommended)
